Hallo Albert!
I found received from Poland the birth record of David Janke (son), he was born 24. July 1828, his mother was Rosalie Frank, and not Anna Christine Frank as mentioned in the merriage record of 1847. I suppose, David (the father) was married twice.
In this birth record it was written that David Janke (the father) was 50 years old, it would mean that he was born in 1778, and his mother Rosalie Frank 40 years old in 1788.
Any idea how to get a birth record of father David?
In a book - german settlement of Weichsel and Warthe - Uni Marburg, I read, that in this area dutch settlers came in the year 1750 from Pommern. I suppose that Janke as German settlers came also from Pommern, because Janke is widely spread in Pommern at that time.
Thank a lot for the help so far.
Greetings from Germany!
Frank
