I am 99.99% certain of most of the following, based on documents provided by the Chazy, Clinton County, New York historian (who provided pictures as well as documents that confirmed things) and web searches:
5a. Pierre Paulin (Solomon's father) - born between 1786 - 1790 Coopersville, died 23-Aug-1856 Coopersville. He married, on 11-Jul-1808 in L'Acadie, Quebec Province, Canada (where his sibs all married):

What I'm looking for is confirmation that 5a is in fact 5b's son and that 5b is in fact 6a's son.
Also, any and all details about Catherine Fiset and her ancestors.
I think the parents of Edwidge Dumas (5b) are Joseph Dumas, born 1-Aug-1788 L'Acadie and Agathe D'Aragon, born about 1793 in Quebec. They were married on 6-Nov-1809 in St. Valentine Parish, L'acadie, St. Jean, Quebec.I would also like some verification of this (Edwidge's inclusion in that family).
Any help anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated.I am (as always) willing to share information in my FTM database (currently over 10400 people).
A first cousin twice removed of mine, named Mabel Beaucaire (daugther of Cornelia Poland and Jacob Bocare), received a letter in January of 1960 (when I was about 8 months old) that seemed to confirm that her grandparents were Solomon J. Poland and Elvidge.I'd love to get in contact with her or her family.
