I am searching for information on a Paulsen family from Germany

Husband:Clause Ebbe Christian Ludwig Paulsen
Wife: Catharina Christiana Sophie nee:Schmidt

They had a son named Max Ludwig Heinrich Wilhelm Paulsen, b. March 15, 1855 in Germany
d. October 4, 1940 in Vancouver, BC Canada

Max married Esther Ann Hay in the County of Fife, Scotland on October 2, 1885.

Max and Esther had three children:
1.Olga Sophia Esther Paulsen (my great grandmother)b.
Nov 24, 1887 d. Nov 16, 1982
2.Ida Jane Paulsen b. Dec 20, 1892
3. Claus Ludwig Paulsen b. Sept. 28, 1893

All three children were born in Scotland.
