It did take a long time, but I finally found a Peachey male to test who matches my Dad. Lawrence Peachey has documented his family back to John Peachey b. 1733 in Mildenhall, Suffolk, England. He matches my Dad's distinct G haplogroup and is a 64/67 marker match. This places my Dad's Peachey family in Suffolk county in the 1700's. Because of the mismatches, his Peachey branch is still distinct from Larry's in the last 6-8 generations. At least I know to narrow my search to families in Suffolk now. Now I wait for more Suffolk Peachey's to test. So many of the Suffolk Families..Peachey, Fincham, Childerstone, Morley, Rutterford seem to marry each other...typical for a small village, it would be really interesting to do a Suffolk county DNA project.
