Brenda,
Thank you for that information.Just to make a correction for anyone who wishes it, Peninna Peacock married Alford Duncan Trogdon, lots of folks have him as Alfred or even Alfred Daniel, but it is Alford Duncan Trogdon and not one of variations Trogden. The cemetery they are buried in is about 9 miles from my home and the headstone is very clear - photos available if anyone wants one. Also, if anyone needs any info on Peninna's children, I have copies of all of the death certificates available, all of the marriage indexes from the register of deeds and actually have photos of Aunt Neelie (Cornilia as her headstone spells it) and Aunt Lou.My great aunt who is 94 remembers them and I obtained the pictures from Neelie's grandson Jake Hinshaw. I have had a lot of luck connecting family members with no other way of connecting by going to the marriage indexes at the register of deeds and looking at the info when available as to whose home they got married and who witnessed the marriages.Maybe, just maybe, Peter or his wife witnessed some of those marriages.Thank you again for the info.
Jean
