Minnie Seamans Peck was my Grandmother's aunt. She was from upstate (Albion) and lived in Pulaski many years. She had one son, the late Willis Peck, who became a Doctor and lived in Ohio area. The family names that Minnie was related to include Caswell and Tooker. Minnie was a regional artist who painted many scenes of NY. My uncle owns a painting of the Selkirk lighthouse that she painted. She was hit while crossing a street in Michigan and died in the 1930s.
The book you referenced was published by her. She taughtart at Sandy Creek High School for many years as well. Her brother was Byron G. Seamans who was the publisher/editor of the Pulaski Democrat. The newspaper is a good source of information on her life.
I am trying to collect her works and obtain more information on her life.
