Derek, Thanks for offering to help in my search for the Pearman family in Warwickshire. My name is June Gilbert nee Pearman c. 5.6.35 in Coventry. I married Dennis William Gilbert on 7.7.62 and we have five children and six grandchildren.I can let you have names and dates if you need them. My parents were Francis Leslie Pearman, c. 15.6.1906 and Maud Marion Worrod c. 10.6.1906.They were married 16.6.35 My father was one of four children, Cecil James, Francis Leslie, b.15.6.1906 (himself)Constance Marjorie, and John. My grandparents were Francis James Pearman and Emily Rebecca Oxley. My grandfather was one of three children that I have so far traced.Francis James (himself) Harry Hubert and Sydney Albert.I do not know if there were any girls because I have taken the names from his mother, Frances Elizabeth's will and she may have just left her money and property to the sons. Great grandparents James Pearman c.3.10.1852 and Frances Elizabeth Harris m. 9.3.1874. Possible gg grandparents James P and Mary Clarke. Possible ggg grandparents Josiah P and Jane Yates Fletcher. Possible gggg"Thomas P and Sarah Biddle. I have only definately researched as far back as James and Frances Elizabeth because I have been concentrating on my mother's side of the family. By definately researched I mean sight of the original parish registers, Bishop's transcripts or copy birth or marriage certificates and so on, and not just copied pages of other people's work gleaned from the internet. Why I am writing of my hesitation to use passed on work is that someone has put information onto the internet about my immediate family which I gave to them in good faith and they have reproduced with errors. If someone can copy down my information wrongly, then how easy it must be to keep on reproducing errors. I hope you see what I mean. I should be very pleased to have anything you can let me have.It is very good of you. June.
