As mentioned in my previous reply , I have a copy of a tree prepared by George Godfrey Pearse on the " Pearse, of Plympton St Mary, South Devon, England" It traces the family in Plympton from Nicholas b.c. 1530, to Pearses buried up to 1738. The sources of this information were the "Visitations of County Devon". This gives no listing of a Thomas , William(2) or Joseph Pearse in Plympton corresponding to the dates cited. There is a William born c.1608 and buried 1636 in Plympton St Mary. There is another William , son of Nicholas, born 1632-3.
