Hi Becky ... thanks for the info. Some info I had obtained from Blaine Scott (another person doing Peel family research) just recently, but I still have lots of blanks. It was only recently through Blaine that we were able to get the correct information pertaining to Earl Archibald Peel's parents.Earl Archibald Peel & Marguerite McIntosh are my husband's parents. As you can appreciate, I have very little information on the Peel side of the family to share. In fact, we did not know the names of Earl Archibald's siblings so we were in the dark trying to find information. This is what I can give you....
Earl Archibald Peel b Sep 5, 1903 in Halifax, Nova Scotia d Sept 1955 married Marguerite Marie McIntosh b Aug 27, 1906 in Owen Sound, Ontario d Jul 18, 1976 in London, Ontario, daughter of Thomas McIntosh & Mary Smith Ditmore.
Earl & Marguerite had 2 children.
Beverly Thomas Peel b Feb 12, 1930 in Owen Sound, Ontario d Sep 1987 in Fairfax, Virginia, married Bettymae Smuck Oct 11, 1952 in London, Ontario
Douglas Richard Peel (my husband) married (first wife) Patricia Marie Evans. Married (second wife - that's me) Deborah Rose Bush.
I would love to receive the information you have on the 3rd thru 7th generation of the Schurman/Peel line. Of course, any information at this point is extremely helpful.Unfortunately, I can't help you with Joshua Peel or Ann Hunter as all of these names are new to me right now, but if I do find out anything as my research continues, I will be more than happy to send it along.
The book I think you are refering to is "William Schurman, Loyalist" written by Ross Graves and Harold B. Schurman, published in 1973 Summerside, PEI.Blaine gave me this information and I am hoping to find a copy of this book for my own reference.
My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org.It might be easier to exchange information that way rather than this message board.
