You are correct.
Evans Peery's parents were William Peery and Sarah "Sallie"
Evans Peery.
William died in 1830 and is buried in Tazewell County,
Va., and Sarah moved to Grundy County Missouri after his
death to be near her family.
Her sons Evans and his family, George and his family,
and Robert and his family, along with several other
Peery families as well as Wittens and whitleys and other
Tazewell county families, all began moving there about
1830 and continued the migration until about 1860.
I have plenty of info on the Peerys, but nothing really
on the Evans line.
You can view a large portion of what I have by going to
my website, at http://communities.msn.com/descendantsofstevenalexanderpeeryhttp://communities.msn.com/descendantsofstevenalexanderpeery
I have quite a bit more too but with what is on the site,
and with all of the source links out from the site, it
will keep you busy for a long time.
I will check out the Evans line and see what I can find.
Later- Jim Peery
