I wish I could help. I have been trying to find out more about this Thomas Pegg for years. I have found out a lot about him personally in several Cherokee history books, but have learned nothing about his family history or decendants. The only thing of possible interest is the fact that 7 miles north of the Cherokee capitol of Talequah is the town of Peggs, Okla. I once visited there and there are no Peggs currently living there. The postmaster did not even know that the town was named after Thomas Pegg. Anything you learn, I would be interested in, as I know that my branch of the family started in the Carolinas and probably have some connection with the Cherokees.
