A.D. 1786, a certificate was brought to the Clerks office in the following words and figures to wit, on the 28th day of Sept. 1778, I received of Daniel Pegg, or some person in his behalf one hundred and ninety? four pounds, three shillings & six pence, in full for a bond & mortgagegiven to Samuel Tucker Esq., assigned by him to Rebecca Coxe.
