Hello,
I was struck by the fact you mentioned Connecticut. Whether any of this helps or not, I don't know:My grandfather was Robert Pekrul. He was born in Lipno, Poland in 1890 and came to the States prior to WWI.He married, and has a number of descendants in Conecticut, including my father Robert in Wolcott. His sponsor when he came to the States was his uncle Frederick Pekrul, b. 3/16/71 and d. 6/8/27.He is buried at the Old Pine Grove cemetery in Waterbury. His wife was Wanda.I don't know anything else about Frederick (yet), but the possibility that perhaps he was related to Otto as an uncle, or even his father, is very interesting.
Please let me know if any of this is familiar at all, or if I can help you with any other Connecticut Pekrul information. Although I've heard we have cousins in Connecticut from another branch of Pekruls, I've never learned any specifics.
Mark Pekrul
