I am Daniel Péloquin, born in Montréal, Province of Québec, Canada, on May 7, 1946.
I have been practising law as a member of the Bar of the Province of Québec and the Bar of Montréal, since May the 1st, 1973. I have been living in the City of Laval since November of 1982.
I am the son of Jean-René Péloquin, born in Montréal, on April 13, 1916 and Jeanne Delongchamp, born in Montréal, on August 27, 1915. They married in Montréal on February 14, 1942. My mother passed away in Montréal, in August of 1996 and my father, in Ville Sainte-Catherine, in December of 2000.
I have a sister, Lisanne, born in Montréal, on October 23, 1948, a brother, Serge, born in Montréal, on October 5, 1949, and another sister, Monique, born in Montréal, on April 21, 1951. Serge has remained single so far.
I married Monique Gaudet, in Saint-Liguori, a few kilometers from the City of Joliette, on August 4, 1979. We have a daughter, Mariève, born in Montréal, on September 26, 1981, and a son, Frédérick, born in Montréal, on November 3, 1983.
My grandfather was Adrien Péloquin, born in Saint-Ours, a few kilometers from the City of Sorel, on April 17, 1884. He passed away in October of 1954. My grandmother was Éva Cardinal, born on December the 1st, 1892. She passed away in December of 1974. They had two sons, Marcel, who died at the very young age of 4 from meningitis, and Jean-René, my father. They had no daughters.
My grand grandfather was Prisque Péloquin, who passed away in Saint-Ours before I was born, my father told me.
