I am researching a Pendarvis family residing in Marion County, Florida in 1885. This was William Pendarvis and his wife Nancy-I believe her maiden name was Hope). One of their sons was Cyrus Pendarvis.Cyrus had several children but only two survived-and only the daughter married and had children. They did have other sons who might be related to your family. One interesting item I have found-in 1850 there was a Bozeman family living in Darlington County, South Carolina. James Hamilton Bozeman and his wife Emily had 7 children in 1850.By 1860 both parents were apparently deceased and some of the children were farmed out to other families. Most of these children were living in McIntosh or Wayne County, Georgia in 1860.One of the children-Catherine was living with a Rachel Pendarvis-born in South Carolina. One of the daughters, Bethina-was living in Marion County, Florida in 1860 with the family of Reubin O'Berry-called Mythia on the census. Reubin's brother Wesley was living next household. Bethina(Thena/thaney/Mythia) married William Driggers. Their daughter Matilda married James S. O'Berry who was Wesley O'Berry's son.James S. O'Berry and his family moved to Orange County, Florida after 1900 and Cyrus Pendarvis moved with his family at the same time to Orange County.Cyrus married Lucinda Bronson-a half sister to James S. O'Berry. I believe there is enough information to conclude that somehow all these families were connected in McIntosh County, Georgia. I believe William Driggers also came from McIntosh County.I don't know all the connections but have been able to search out some of them.If anyone has more information, please let me know.
