Thank you so much for sending these pictures to the site.
I recognized Tim W. ATTEBERRY from another photo I saw of him in the book HISTORY OF DALLAS COUNTY (Missouri). He was called the "Hillbilly Artist of the Ozarks" according to the book and to my father. We have one of his paintings whose frame time made from persimmon wood that he cut and carved himself.
There is another one of his paintings, scenic portraits of the Ozarks region, reprinted on the inside cover of one of the church cookbooks.
My father says that there is a large painting of his hanging inside the "Christian Church," that the ATTEBERRYs and PENDERGRAFTs and BENNETTs were so active in organizing.
There are still some ocusins who go there.
My father will be pleased when he sees these photographs of Milt, a b rother of Lena ATTEBERRY PENDERGRAFT and Lou (Sarah Lou Jean) ATTEBERRY PENDERGRAFT - the two sisters who married Benjamin Franklin PENDERGRAFT (Lena) and James Daniel PEDNERGRAFT (Lou).
Your bluegrass band Common Tyme must be doing well. I enjoyed listening to the clips. Do you have an album or CD coming out?
