there's a James H. PENNY, b. 1860 in ENG, parents born Ireland, living with his mother?, a Margaret Wafer in the 1880 US Federal Census for Providence, RI, working as a waiter in a hotel, also listed as living with the DeJoy family - not sure if this is the same as above.
