Irene is my grandmother. She died in 1921.There are about 20 descendants and relatives of her.Her father's name was John Pentony. His father's name was John Pentoney and his mother's name was Catherine McCullough. They are all buried in Calvary Cemetery in NYC.Apparently my grandmother's father died the month before she was born so we know nothing about the Pentony family. There's a rumor that one of them was in the Civil War at the battle of Antienam and I corresponded with a priest in Mississippi named Pentony who said the name comes from County Louth. Are we related?Sincerely,Father Richard Lopez
