Hi again everyone

I am posting this corrrection to my last message, for I have since noticed a rather poor inference I have made, as by way of an omission of words.

In the paragraph starting "I am extremely ----, (I have said)----you echo my own reasonings about the father of John being his executed grandfather -----"(in very poor taste!)

What I actually meant to say was that John's father was most likely a son of Robert (his executed grandfather).

To date I know of no reference to the parents (or grandparents) of John, or any brothers and sisters he may have had.I have been unable to find any records so far, other than his Death certificate in 1863, but would like to if they exist.

There is also at least one spelling error in the overall message, which doesn't affect the general meaning of the sentence it is contained in.

I have recently found a little information about a (Major) Montague Perreau/Mary Reddie and a daughter Lavinia, in material posted by a Mr Robin Forlonge Patterson, and strangely enough he has an NZ email address.I have since found these names on the partial family tree sheet I mentioned in the earlier message.I shall contact him shortly.

I have also found a reference to a "Perreau" as "living", in information submitted under the name of Hibbard, who also has an NZ email address, and I believe I know of this line already, I shall most likely contact this person as well.

For now, good luck to all - I would like to hear from any who wish to do so.
