John Was born 1771 in Granville NC.which is wrong. Studying SC History, in 1760 it was NCbut an indian treaty made the area SC and a new name was used Abbelville District then a few years later Abbeville co then McCormick co then Finally Greenwood co. Mary Perrin was born1759. 12 years older than john Hanvey. Yjey had two childrenMargaret and Catherinwho married zimmerman brothersHenry and samuel. They lived in the edgefield area SC. Mary's paents were wm and Mary Cloptonfrom VA. Cloptons were kin to the hollinsworth in VA. The hollinsworth were quakers.
