This really should be addressed to the "Perusse" family forum... but since there's only a "Perus" one, i'm contributing here. I sent in a request to have the Perusse name added (or have this one edited) - so hopefully there will be one soon.
Anyhow, i'm writing here because my great-grandmother was Eglantine Perusse. She married Joseph Dupont, my great-grandfather... and they lived in Manville, Lincoln, Providence Co., RI. They had 8 children... all of which lived in or around the Rhode Island area.

Eglantine was a communicant of St-James (St-Jacques) Parish in Manville, RI. She was buried in St-James Cemetery, Manville, RI with her husband.
According to family records she was born abt. 1873 In the 1930 US census she is listed as being 56 at her last birthday... In the 1881 Canadian census she is said to be 8 years old...
According to family accounts, her mother was Clarince de la Busonniere of Canada.
In the 1881 Census, it lists her parents as Thelesphor and Clarince Perusse. Thelesphor was a "cultivateur"... and both he and his wife were 33 years old at the time of the Census. (Both born abt. 1848).
At the time of the Census, Thelesphor and Clarince had 7 children...
