I am looking for information on a Jens Petersen who lived in Brooklyn, NY. According to to my wife, the former Christine Klein, Jens was her Maternal Grandfather.From where lived in Brooklyn he could look out his window and watch the building of the Brooklyn Bridge.Also he was painter known for his muriels. In the Bathroom of his own apartment he had a barn scene painted.
His youngest daughter, Elinor, - (Shown as Eleanor on the 1920 Census), married John Klein, (Son of George C & Emma (McAlpin) Klein who resided at 413 Somerset St, in the 1910 Fed Queens, NYC, next to his In-laws Richard and Mary McAlpin. John and Elinor in turn had Christine in 1949 in the Ridgewood, Brooklyn Section, Kings County.
My Wife advises that Carl was also known as Max.
Further my wife advises that Jens and Catherine, somewhere between 1974 and 1980 returned to Denmark Where Catherine died around the age of 85 and Jens lived on to around his mid 90s.
