I am very sure there are a lot of Harvey Pettits, but I have one with a middle name that might distinguish him from the others.
He was Harvey Allen Pettit, born Sept. 16, 1872 in IN.I found him on a census with his mother, Jennie, and step father, Steve Hughes.I have no name for his father.
