July 17 was a milestone day. After working on the book for 39 years, I finished writing it and began printing it on my home printer. I tried doing that a few years ago, but I ran into problems with my old PC and printer and never succeeded in getting a complete printout due to insufficient memory. In the meantime, I bought a new PC with more memory and a new printer. I also added several chapters to bring the book down to the fifteenth generation, starting with Thomas Petyous of Norwich, England, as the progenitor. I now have the complete printout in two large three-ring binders. I am proofreading the text and looking at picture placements to make sure I have enough white space around them. I expect to finish that task in August. After making the necessary corrections, I will return to the indexing project.
