During the last two weeks of June, I received two shipments of my Pettus book. One shipment, which was delivered to my home address in Fairfax, Virginia, contained 48 books for myself, my immediate family, and friends who live in the area. The other shipment, which went to my family home in Richmond, contained 152 books. I distributed about 40 of those books at a signing held in Richmond on Saturday, 25 June. During the following week, I signed, numbered, packaged, and mailed out the remaining books in the second shipment to subscribers all over the country. Since returning home to Fairfax last Thursday, I have signed, numbered, and packaged SOME of the books that had arrived here. I still have 32 books to go, but I will have to wait until after the holiday to mail them. I have been notified that the printer will be sending another 100 books to Richmond later this week. I don't yet know exactly when I can go there to process those books, but I might have to wait until my son, who is the heavy lifter, is available to help me. He returns from his vacation on 23 July. So far, I have been very pleased to receive some very complimentary messages from readers about my book.
