Samuel Pettyjohn & Anna Wright, widow of John Wright
does anyone know anything of these above people....a person posted this info. below, a while back, on the Parramore genforum and i tried to contact this person about this info. but they wouldn't repond, they probably didn't connect to the Parramore's but just posted the info. because they found it in this book...

I found the following in the book Colonial Families of Delaware Vol. 2 Page 241
THE JOHN WRIGHT FAMILY
On 4 Nov 1761 Samuel Pettyjohn of Sussex Co., planter and Anna (Ann) his wife, extx. of the will of John Wright, late of same co.m dec'd, for 16 paid to John Wright in his lifetime sold to James Pettyjohn of same co., a tract of land, whereas the said John Wright did on 14 April 1747 obligate himself to make over unto ye afst. James Pettyjohn 100 a. of land in Broadhill Hundred, 96 z...and whereas Anna since the decease of the said John Wright, her former husband, hath intermarried with the afst. Samuel Pettyjohn. (SUDELR 1:348)
John was father of the following children: Edward; Solomon, Sarah, m. James Smith; Mary m. Matthew Parrimore.

I'm trying to find out if the above Mary Wright who marr. Matthew Parrimore might have been the parents or gr.parents of my 3rd. g.gr.father Wright Parrimore b. c1809 who is in Craven Co. NC in 1830, marries a Sally Moore there in Mar. 1831 then moves to Tenn. and shows up on the 1840 Shelby Co. TN census....thanks, Kay.
