I'm sorry.Regarding Samuel Pugh, born July 27, 1837 in Belmont County, Ohio.Notes from my grandmother Laura Edna Pugh Elledge passed down to my father--Dicinda and Samuel were pioneers who traveled by covered wagon from Ohio to Iowa.All of their children were born in Caldwell Township, Appanoose County, near Exline, Iowa.Samuel Pugh was a Scotch-Irish descent, and one of sixteen children.
Appanoose County Marriage Records show 10-4-1866 for Samuel Pugh and Dicinda Baker.1887 State Census, Appanoose County, Iowa lists Samuel Pugh 47, a farmer, from Ohio, living in Calddwell Township with Decinda, 41, who keeps house, from VA.
