As far as I can tell there are no records of any Pharr's or Farr's to ever live in Scotland. There are records and people named Pharr and Farr in Ireland in both sides of the country. The only thing to Scotland is the early Pharr's were Presbyterian. Please post and let me know your thoughts. Someone may come up with some ideas where this can be followed out. I tend to think the family name may have been Fair or Phair before they came to America. Rev. Edward Phair II or the son of Edward Neddy Pharr Farr used Phair on the 1820 census in Jackson C. Ga.
