I'm told that Alberts wife was Mary G. Pharr. The problem is Mary was not born till 1840 the daughter of James B. Pharr of Wilcox C. Ala. The Mary shown with him on the census for 1850 and 1860 Wilcox County is to old. Can there be and older Mary Pharr? It would have to be and unknown sister to James B. Pharr. James is not noted in the book Pharrs and Farrs. He would have to be a son or adopted by Ephraim Alexander 2.3.14 Pharr. Ephraim fought in the Indian wars. Was a Col. with Andrew Jackson. He came from Oglethorpe C. Ga and did not mar. Mary Mathews untill 12 april 1819 in Greene C. Ga. Ephraim b. 1794 and Mary b. 1790 were old enough to have a son as old as John. Could they have had John before they were married in Greene C.? Census notes on Albert J.
