I've did some diging and so far came up with nothing. Ambros Far shows up on the 1840 census. I did not see him before that. I can post that if you like. My guess he is a Farr and not a Pharr. There is a chance he could be and unknow member of Ephraim Pharr's line. The best way to find out would be the DNA test. Do you have a male Pharr or Farr in you line? Y DNA is rather simple as it is only carried by males in a direct ine. Females donot have YDNA and can't pass it to a son or daughter. No blood required for the test. I took the test several years back. Several Farr's have matched with me and one of them is from Canada. There is one other Pharr and we are both from the Edward Neddy 2.1.1 Phair line. I've posted census for Farr under the name Farr. Look at them back to 1790.
