I just returned from Clay Co, Indiana and found a few pc's of info that may be of interest to someone, concerning the Phegley family in Indiana.

This info came from the Centerpoint, Indiana Historical Office in Clay Co. and was submitted by a John Murray, who was living in Anaheim, CA, when he sent it to them:
John Phegley was the 2nd child of 17 children, b. Ky about 1807.
d. Aug. 4, 1869, b. Old Bowling Green, Washington Twp, Clay Co, In.
Parents: David Phegley, b. ca 1783 and Judith Basye, b. ca 1786, d. ca 1872
He was married 2 times, but I did not get that name written down, sorry. He md. Rachel Thompson, Jackson Co, In, Nov. 19, 1833. She d. Oct. 6, 1853 and is buried at the Old Bowling Green Cem, also, in Washington Twp, Clay Co, In.
