I stumbled across your genealogy page while researching my family's genealogy online and believe that I may be one of the Phinney family descendants (tracing back to Jeffrey Finney of Nottinghamshire, England b. 1532).
My paternal grandmother was Elizabeth Allen Lambert Mandell (b. 1912 in MA).Her parents were Mary Anna Ingalls (b. 1878 in MA) and Frederick Dayton Lambert (b. 1872 approx. in Iowa). Frederick Dayton Lambert was the son of Daniel Meader Lambert and Ellen Scudder (b. 5/21/1841).Ellen Scudder was the daughter of Edwin Scudder and Harriett Newell Phinney (b. 1818 in MA).
If my reading of the Phinney family genealogy records on this site is correct, then Harriett was the daughter of William Phinney and Jane Cammett. William Phinney (b. 1779) was the son of Content Davis and Joseph Phinney (b. 1744).Joseph Phinney was the son of Jane Taylor and Jabez Phinney (b. 1708).Jabez was the son of Sarah Lumbart and John Phinney (b. 1665). John was the son of Mary Rogers and John Phinney (b. 1638), who was the son Christian Patten and John Finney (1604).
My grandmother was an only child, born in MA on 3/29/192 and died in Boston, MA on 12/7/1981. She was married to Richard Ellis Mandell (in 1938) and had 4 children: Ann Lambert Mandell Boulderson (lives in FL and has no children), Bradford Burt Mandell (my father, who deceased 5/10/2011, and only has one surviving child, which is me), Richard Allen Mandell (deceased while in the service in his 20s, no children), and Robert Walker Mandell (lives in FL with his wife, Linda Hogg Mandell, and has two children Kimberly Mandell Petersohn and Stephen Mandell, as well as their children).
I was born on the USAF in Wiesbaden, Gemany while my dad was stationed there in the Air Force in 1965.I currently live in Virginia and can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org should you want to contact me or have me forward you more specific bio information for your genealogy tree.
