Benjamin Scudder and Sarah J (Bridges) Pickett had daughters Elmira (1800-1817) and Almira (1818 - ?)
Almira married David Bailey (1817-1893). However, They lived in MA and their children's names do not match yours.
IF Almira had maiden name Pickett and was born VT (1802 by 1850 census in Bedford, Cuyahoga County, Ohio)
possibility that she was a descendant (granddaughter?) of Ebenezer Warner[EW] Pickett, who migrated from CT to VT about 1784 and had several children in VT. EW eventually moved to PA, but some of his descendants followed the migration pattern you describe, including NY and OH. His ancestors descend from John Pickett (1617-1684; son of Zerubbabel Pickett, 1590-1650 Kent, England), one of the earliest migrants to America. Also, EW had descendants living in Charlotte, Chautauqua County, New York, who would have been cousins to Almira, and could have introduced Russell and Cornelia.
EW's grandchildren are not well documented, especially the females. IF Almira's maiden surname was Pickett, Ebenezer's family might be a good starting point for your search.
Good Luck!
