Hi! I think I just erased the message I was posting. My grandfather was Justice L. Pidcock. his great grandfather was Liner Pidcock, a brother of Ira B. I havehis cousin Louie's copies of 2 issues of the Pidcock periodical, ca 1978, 1980. In there is a list of the sons and daughters of the original Ira B, born 1812, wife Malinda Shoemate, no mention of a son named Ira B, howerver, on the same census page, underneath William, Crawford co., Mo, is a 6 yr old son, I.B., perhaps related to the one you seek. The year was 1850, so perhaps your Ira B is a relative as in a grandson of Ira B. or William, ? I am interested in finding more of the father of IRA B., 38 in the 1850 census, and Liner, Horatio Pidcock, trying to locate more info on his parents and their origins in NJ. Horatio was born in NJ in 1765, 0r 66, married an Ann, in VA, then moved to KY, if you can help.
