Henry Pfeiffer, Sr. was born around 1716 in Germany and died October 29, 1778 in Shenandoah County, Virginia.He married Catharina.
His son Henry Pifer, Jr. was born ? in Shenandoah County, Virginia and died in 1801.He married Mary (Brofin?).
They had 7 children.
The ones I have dates for are:
*Sarah Pifer, born June 5, 1781 in Shenandoah County, Virginia and died December 27, 1845.Married first on Dec 27, 1800 Jacob Hite (September 15, 1778-July 14, 1803) and secondly to George Miller, III (October 21, 1771-?) *Elizabeth Pifer, born July 18, 1794 in Shenandoah County, Virginia and died June 8, 1865 in Frederick County, Virginia.Married Jacob Richard (December 28, 1793 in Frederick County, Virginia-June 13, 1882).
The rest of the children I don't have dates for, but they are:
*Henry Pifer *Jacob Pifer *John Pifer *Rebecca Pifer, who married Jacob Rudolph (1775 in Shenandoah County, Virginia-1840 in Shenandoah County, Virginia) *Abraham Pifer
The family lived on Cedar Creek near the Marlboro Iron Works.The Pifer family attended the “Dutch Chapel,” which was early name for St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Strasburg, Virginia.
