Hi Brenda, I couldn't find a Pricillia Pigman, Richard Edelen, Thomas Lewis. "John Pigman & His Descendants" by Polly Kelleher, etc. starts with John Pigman, the earliest document the author could find in MarylandRecords was on Sept 12, 1695, "when he received a patent for 137 acres of land in then Charles Co., and now Prince George's Co. from Col. James Smallwood, (Hall of Records, Maryland State Archives, Annapolis, MD Patent # BB#3F-261 and Certificate #BB#3F-260) he (John) named his estate Parndon." The author then traced this back to Great Parndon, now part of Harlow, Essex, England, .."and in the County Archives of Great Parndon an entry that on August 26, 1661 John son of Raph Pitman, was baptized at St Mary the Virgin, Great Parndon." Raph was the son of Henry Pickman.
John had a daughter "Cathern", (no birth info)and it's unknown if she was the daughter of John's 1st wife (unknown) or 2nd wife Sarah Reley.
She also mentions a Joseph Pigman. "On October 2, 1706 John deeded to Anthony Long, ... 37 acres of Taunton..." The author traced this back to Taunton, Somerset, England, 30 miles S.W. of Bristol, England. "There was a Joseph Pigman (also called Prigman), who lived in Somerset about this time. He was a Captain ina regiment of foot raised by Col. Francis of Dunster Castle in 1688. (source: "English Army Lists and Commision Registers. Vol II, III., Charles Dalton, ed 1960, pub Francis Edwards, Ltd, London.
The author also mentions a source "The Early Settlers of Maryland", Hall of Records, State of Maryland Archives, Annapolis, MD, of all known names up to 1682"
Sorry I didn't have the info you needed. But you might want to contact the above source (she gives no address in her bibliography) and see if they will do a search.
