Saw your following message to Brad:"John Evans Piner was my great-great grandfather, born in 1810 in NC and married to Aletha Tabitha Sparrow. I am trying to work back from him, and I believe his father was Thomas Piner born in VA and died in Boone County, KY. John's grandfather was Thomas Piner, Sr. who died in Culpeper, VA in 1776.My grandparents came from Covington, Ky and lived in Muncie, IN when I knew them back in the 30's."
