Have you seen the book by Louise Pinion Wilson on the Pinion-Pinyan families? There are several pages on Stokes, Jeptha and related families. Louise suggests that Nancy Ann Darnell (or possibly Donough) may have been married twice, first to William Pinyan and then to Jeptha Pinyan; or that there were 2 Nancy Darnells (seems to be common to name children after relatives in our family). She also lists John Wesley Pinion, b. 2/5/1855 in Georgia as being the son of Andrew Jackson Pinion and Elizabeth Bramlett (Bartlett?). This John W. Pinion was married to Mary Matilda Johnson and had 9 children. Then, there is a James Pinion b. Dawson Co, GA, married Jane Anderson (2nd wife). They did have a son Robert, who moved to OK. She lists their children. I don't know if any of this is correct-don't know if it's been proved or disproved by anyone (the book's 20 years old), but I'd be happy to copy anything and send it along.
