Yes, I am part of this Plumlee clan.Actually, I have three different Plumlee connections in the paternal side of my family. One of my connections is the same as yours, thru William Plumlee & Elizabeth 'Betsy' Moss.Your Samuel Newton Plumlee, son of William & Elizabeth (Moss) Plumlee, was a brother to Adeline Plumlee, who is my direct ancestor. Thru this line, I am a 4th great-grandson of John Plumlee and Elizabeth Neill.
Adeline Plumlee married Thomas Jefferson Sims.Their son, John Edward Sims, married Mary Isabelle Plumlee (another connection).Their daughter, Lavonia Adeline Sims, married William Collier Sisco.Their son, Russell Sisco, married Verdie Ora Tuttle (i.e., these are my parents).
The third Plumlee connection comes thru the Sisco side of the family.William Collier Sisco (my grandfather) was a son of Thomas Fancher Sisco, Jr. and Cynthia Anne Armer.Cynthia Anne Armer's father and mother were Nelson F. Armer and Rebecca 'Becky' Plumlee.
With all these connections, sometimes I think I can lay claim to being kin to at least 30% of the older settlers in and around Celina, Clay Co., Tennessee.
I would be happy to share my information with you, but would prefer to do so in a separate E-mail because the amount of information I have is quite large.I have your family line down thru Alton Ingraham & Grace Simonis, but do not have dates for these people and their children. If you would not mind, I would love to get from you the rest of your line and dates for them. Thanks in advance.
Hope this sufficiently answers your question.Take care.
