David Plyler son of Evan
I am seeking information about David, a son of Evan and Frances Key Plyler. I have found conflicting information between his name on the Certficate of his Death and I will appreciate it if anyone can help me with a couple of questions. David's name is shown as "D. A. Plyler" followed by "David Willson Plyler" on the certificate. Which is correct? Also, was his father's name correctly spelled as Evan or was it Evans. I am seeing both on his sons death certificates. Also, I see the name of the cemetery where David was buried is shown as Liberty Hill. Where is this Liberty Hill cemetery? I have searched on line and do not see find one in Union County, NC. If anyone is curious why I am interested I am a descendant of the family which is known in Union County, NC as Rape. I am a descendant of John Rape who is credited for the construction of the Arbor at Pleasant Grove. I am attempting to add the descendants of Catharina (Rape) Funderburk to my Reeb family genealogy. Reeb is pronounced to sound like Rape in German and our family is now documented in time back to the late 1500s in the old County of Saarwerden which is now part of the Bas-Rhin Department of France. Any help will be appreciated. John V. Reeb
