I gather you disapprove of a person researching their own family history on this site, or answering a question that has been posted by a person making inquiry about the same family name, possibly even a an individual in the same family.
Now if you disagree with the information, heaven help them.No one should even memtion that Thomas Rolfe might have had other children. Let's run them off the site or disqualify them by dicouragement before they have barely begun. No one qualifies dares to satisfy their intellectual curiosity to make inquiries.
Re: the Thomas Rolfe that, you seem to have proven accurately, as the sire of his own 2 children a daughter and a son. This Thomas withhis wife, and children, moved to another place in England.
That does notprove or disprove that Thomas Rolfe (b. in Virginia) begat the Anne Rolfe Elwyn, raised by Anthony Rolfe.Neither does it prove that Anthony may have been the Natural father of Anne.No matter what, the Elwyns, do own or have owned, various Pocahontas artifacts. There are also the Pocahontas earrings-----.There is a list of ownership posted on the web, by a Richomond Virginia 1930 ish newspaper. --It was owned mostly by Rolfe family members.
A list of recent books on Pocahontas, Jamestown, and the Rolfe's, will follow. As for Elwyn's descent from Thomas Rolfe (b. in Virginia) you can ask them. There is an Elywn / Elwin site at Yahoo - Elwyn Family Genealogy Forum, and Relf Family Genealogy Forum. The Rolfe / Relfe family has never organized to get out their family data into the public domaine. What ever informatin thus has not been available outside of family.
