Yes, you are correct about my poor maths.
With all the excitment of dusting down the trusty sword,it was after midnight and the brain cells ceased to function.
He would have been 57.
He was concerned enough over his health to write his will on the 4th September 1749,but then lived on till he made his codicill 4.9.1757
I have him dying on the 6th September.
However I still believe that if he had a daughter named Jane, whether married or not,she would have been mentioned.
You do not give any dates so readers can't know where you believe she would fit in.
Nor do you give your sources for your inclusion of her in this family.
