The information on Austen Piety was new and I appreciate it.
Regarding Nancy, I have no clue.I suspect that you are right based on the will of Edmund.Many of my ancestors are buried in Green and Nelson Counties - in fact many are still living in that area.I was trying to either prove or dispel something in the Cox history.This plus other documentation allows me to do so and prove the relationship of Benjamin Cox and Sarah Piety.
Austen Piety is my 6th GGF, and Sarah Polk(e) is my 6th GGM.You have given me a lead to follow on Austin Piety that I hadn't found before.
Now I have to do the necessary digging on Charles Polke IT (1703-1753).From the marriage record indicating that he was from the Philly area (at least he married there), I maybe able to find something at the Historical Society of PA in Philly.
