Other than family tradition, what is your source? A Bible? Deed? Other writing?
I have a few ancestors, not Polsgrove, for whom I have compiled substantial written circumstantial evidence for their position in their given family, but no specific written source for them, yet continue to seek it with the caveat that if anyone can come up with a better ancestor with written proof of it, this is the acceptable answer.
What I have is called the "preponderance of evidence" method.
If you have a preponderance of evidence for Harrison<--Henry then that will be the truth unless someone comes up with something better.
There is a so-called genealogist in Missouri whose info is totally unacceptable because she can never cite a source or do it accurately, she uses generalities as though anyone will just believe in a generality.
Hope this is an acceptable answer.
