From a marriage record I was able to obtain from the Ontario Office of the Registrar General in addition to family records I was able to put pieces together.
My great-grandparents were William S. and Carrie (Bradley) Polson who were married around 1890. Carrie Bradley was from Grafton, Ont. Do not know where William S. was from but assume Toronto.
Carrie and William S. had two children Ross (my grandfather) and Ralph.
Carrie moved to the Syracuse area sometime between the period 1900 and 1910 and remarried.I do not know if her husband William S. died early or they were divorced. She brought her two sons Ross and Ralph to the USA when she moved.Ross ( my grandfather died at the age of 31 in 1921 in Syracuse and Ralph died in the late 1960's in the Syracuse area) Am looking for what happened to my great-grandfather William S. Polson. He was 25 years old when he was married to Carrie in 1890 and therefore was born in 1865.Where is he buried?
William S parents (based on the marriage certificate) were William and Ann Polson who probably born in the 1835 to 1840 timeframe. Also looking for information about William and Ann.Where and when born and where and when died and where buried.(Could have been in the early 1900s)William and Ann would be my great great grandparents.
Any known family connections would be appreciated.
