Hoyt Clayton Pratt, Missing Person
Whatever happened to Hoyt Clayton Pratt? He has been abducted by aliens or fallen into a crack in the earth.
Hoyt Clayton Pratt was born 20 April 1901, in Armada, Macomb County, Michigan, to David Jerome Pratt and Anna Clayton. He was living at home with his parents in 1910, Port Huron, St. Clair County, Michigan and also in 1920.Cannot locate him in 1930 using variations.
He had two short-lived marriages to Grace Byers 4 Dec. 1920 and Vera A. Smith 21 June 1924, both in Port Huron. The last I know of Hoyt, he was living at his parents' address in Port Huron in 1926; there is no directory for 1927 and he does not appear in 1928; nor does he appear in any Michigan deaths to 1952, or St. Clair County/Macomb County burials; he just vanishes. He was not listed in his father's obituary in 1955, nor in his mother's in 1959.He had no living siblings.
An entry on Ancestry Public Tree says he had a daughter Rea born12 August 1930 in Wichita, Kansas, mother Ursa Diehl who was living in Chicago during the census enumeration in April; but the daughter never went by the Pratt surname and there is no other evidence at hand that would explain this; cannot get in touch with the poster.
If anyone comes across Hoyt, I would surely be appreciative so we can put him to rest.
