OBIT-William H. Prevost, 80, b:NY, son of Joseph Prevost & Mildred (Spring)Wason
TEWKSBURY -- William H. Prevost, age 80, long time resident of Long Island, NY, died Thursday morning, April 22, at home in Tewksbury. He was the beloved husband of the late Elsie A. Prevost, who died on February 7, 2010, with whom he had celebrated a 59th wedding anniversary this past May 13th.
He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late Joseph Prevost and Mildred (Spring) Wason.
Following his marriage in 1950, he moved to Long Island where he had resided until moving to Tewksbury four months ago.
After his honorable discharge from the U.S.M.C., he was employed at various times by several corporations including IBM, Republic Aviation, and Sperry, as a Computer Systems Analyst.
He is survived by his son, Stephen and his wife, Rita (DiCenso) Prevost of Tewksbury; his daughter, Leslie and her husband, Michael Bergbower of Central Islip, NY; and his son, Mark Prevost of Columbus, Ohio; six grandchildren, Emily and Rachel Prevost of Tewksbury, MA, Matthew McGonigle of Marlboro, MA, Seth, Summer, and Devon Prevost of Ohio.
PREVOST -- of Tewksbury, April 22. Korean War, USMC Veteran; William H. Prevost, age 80. At his request, funeral services were private. Arrangements were through the Tewksbury Funeral Home.
