This Andrew Jackson Pridemore was the son of Elihu Pridemore, born 1823 Scott Co., VA.and died 20 Dec. 1912, Yale Arkansas.Elihu was married four times but A.J.'s mother would have to have been Eleanor Pittman or S. Elizabeth Toliver.Elihu was a blacksmith and served in the Union Army during the Civil War.
Elihu was the son of Theodore Pridemore and Jane Landrith/Pridemore.Theodore Pridemore b 1802, Lee Co. VA and died 18, Apr. 1848, Clay Co. Ill.He married Jane Landrith 5 Dec.1822, Scott Co. VA.She was born 1804 and died 1842-3
