Daniel Prindle was born in the early 1800's and had 8 children with his wife Mary Giddings. Their first six children were born in Conneticut, and the last two were born in Michigan.
There appear to be perhaps two different Daniel Prindles in Kent county, MI and the surrounding areas during the mid 19th century, However it seems clear that the Prindle family moved from Conneticut to Michigan between 1847 and 1850, settling in the Byron township. Some historical records show a Daniel Prindle making land purchases in the late 1830's and another account talks of a Daniel Prindle who made stucco flower pots in 1845, though both of these are unlikely this same Daniel Prindle. Daniel prindle had two sons serve as soldiers in the civil war, William and John. William was killed in South Carolina. Daniel died in 1869 in Dorr, Allegan (nearby Byron Twp, Kent County) of a stroke.
I have as children: James, John, William, Julia (Allen), Charles, Charlotte (Price), Seth, Frank
