Peggy, I have never found an American Indian line thru the Cushman, but do not know about Deborah Trefethen's line. I did, however, go into the Mayflower Society through Eliza's grandmother's line. Our Mayflower passenger was Isaac Allerton thru that line of Lydia (Cushman) Prior. I have Eliza Prior born ca 1832 and Augustus Remick born ca 1834. Their children with approximate birth dates (all from 1880 census) were: Willard SH 1862, Agness D 1863, Andrew C 1866, Marietta 1868, George E 1870, Eleanor P 1874 (named for her father's sister and also her father's grandmother Eleanor (Keene) Prior)and Alice M 1877. OK, back to Eliza's father, Cushman Prior. His siblings were Mercy, Lucinda, Eleanor, John, Lydia, George Jr and Levi. I have tons of info on all of them...a pretty good Prior/Cushman data base. Anyway, Cushman Prior's parents, George Prior (1774-1857) and Lydia Cushman (1775-1852) were married in Bristol, ME 18 Dec 1796. They moved to Kittery, ME with sons John, Levi and Cushman and are all buried in the South St Cemetery in Portsmouth, NH where I was born. May I ask thru which of Eliza's children do you descend and where are you? I can scan photos of Cushman and Deborah if you would like. Cushman's house in Stratham, NH still stands and is a beautiful old place, two homes down from brother John who was mine. Brother Levi lived in Portsmouth. Tell me your line down from Cushman thru Eliza, and I will tell you how we are related. Hope this helps!Debbie Wilson, North Sandwich, NH.
